South African Players Based Abroad

It was rather an inconsistent mixture of results for South African players abroad this past weekend.

Lebogang Mothiba

Despite not getting on the scoresheet, Lebo started the match and was hauled off in the 71st minute as RC Strasbourg ran riot of Rennes with a 4-1 thumping in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Keaghan Jacobs

Jacobs was on the winning side, playing the full match, as Livingston saw off Motherwell 2-0 in the Scottish Premiership.

Kurt Abrahams

Abrahams was on the scoresheet, netting his fifth goal of the season, to see Westerlo beat KSV Roeselare 2-0 in the Belgium Second Division.

Thulani Serero

Serero played the full match but not could aid his team come away with maximum points as Vitesse Arnhem were held to a 1-1 draw by Emmen in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Lars Veldwijk

The forgotten Bafana Bafana striker was on the receiving end with his side Sparta Rotterdam suffering a heavy 3-0 defeat to Helmond Sport in the Dutch Second Division.

Percy Tau

Tau’s Belgium Second Division outfit Union Saint-Gilloise lost 2-0 to Tubize.

Rhoda Mulaudzi

Mulaudzi and her South African counterpart Refilwe Jane both featured for Canberra United as they picked up a 2-0 win over Sydney FC in the Australian W-League, with Mulaudzi getting on the scoresheet .
