Slain Orlando Pirates goal keeper, Senzo Meyiwa’s BMW X6 has been repossessed after it was found that it was not insured.
The BMW SUV which was worth R1 million, was retrieved by Aucor Property at Meyiwa’s Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal home.
The Daily Sun reports that the Meyiwas failed to keep up with payments on the luxury car. Earlier this year Senzo’s father, Sam Meyiwa divided up his son’s estate, giving his daughter-in-law, Mandisa Mkhize, Senzo’s BMW 1 Series which is also not fully paid up apparently and keeping a Golf 5 at the family’s Umlazi home.
An Aucor employee confirmed that Senzo’s Beemer was now in their property.
“We cannot say when it will be auctioned because we have to wait for clearance from the bank,” said the employee.
