Olympic and world 800m champion Caster Semenya leads this year’s South African Sports Awards nominations with three nods after a stellar 2018.

Semenya has been nominated for the Sportswoman of the Year, People’s Choice Sports Star of the Year and Sports Star of the Year, which will be held in Bloemfontein in November.

She will be up for the night’s main award with Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada and boxer Hekkie Budler.
