NO PEE FOR 4 HOURS!!! Kim Kardashian could ‘hardly sit’ in corset for Met Gala

Published

on

Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala look may not have adhered to the camp theme in our minds, but there’s no doubt she looked incredible.

And a whole lot of pain went into getting that Thierry Mugler couture to the pink carpet – and we mean literal pain.

Kim has revealed how she got her waist so mind-bendingly tiny for the Met Gala, and it involved legendary corset maker Mr Pearl.

In a video for Vogue, the 38-year-old could barely sit down after being laced into a corset by Mugler collaborater Mark Erskine-Pullin, aka Mr Pearl.

This corset squeezed Kim’s waist in to create that exaggerated hourglass figure, but while Kim was delighted with the results, she wasn’t exactly comfortable.

Speaking to camera, the mum-of-three – who is expecting her fourth child via surrogate any day now – said: ‘So Anna [Wintour], if I don’t sit down for dinner, now you know why. I’ll be walking around, mingling, talking, but I can hardly sit. I can only half sit.’

The reality star even had to practice breathing in the corset ahead of going to the gala.

In the BTS video of her Met Gala prep, Kim admitted that she didn’t know how she was going to go to the toilet in her Mugler dress, saying: ‘I won’t be able to pee for about four hours, so we’re coming up with a plan on what to do in case of an emergency and there’s no other options.’

Mugler came out of retirement to create the silicone dress for Kim, which took eight months to make and made Kim look like she was literally dripping on the red carpet. The star wore couture Thierry Mugler (Picture: PA) Crystals dangled from the nude silicone to give the illusion of water droplets running off Kim’s skin. The look most certainly caused a stir on the pink carpet, not least with trolls who accused Kim’s waist of being ‘fake’. However, her personal trainer Melissa Alcanta was there to defend her client, taking to social media to affirm that Kim ‘works her ass off’.

She wrote: ‘To make things clear, 1. This dress is corseted BUT 2. Kim trains her ass off 6 days a f***ing week, she wakes up early af and is dedicated. ‘3. I paved the road for her but SHE did the work! I love compliments either way. MOST IMPORTANTLY I don’t give a s*** about your opinions on her body if you think she fake or not!’ Mic drop.

Manchester City Complete Historic English Treble

Published

on

Manchester City completed a rare treble after hammering Watford 6-0 in the final to clinch the Emirates FA Cup at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Citizens became the first English side to clean sweep by claiming all the titles. Manchester United are the only other English side to have won the treble, though their wins came in the form of the UEFA Champions League crown, EPL title and the FA Cup during the 1998/99 campaign.
City were crowned English Premier League champions for the second successive season a week ago after seeing off Brighton and Hove Albion 4-1 in their final match of the season, and also won the Carabao Cup earlier this season after beating Chelsea 4-3 in a penalty shootout.
Pep Guardiola’s charges were made to work hard for their league title, finishing just one point ahead of second-placed Liverpool, on 98 points.
The FA Cup win was also a bitter-sweet moment for inspirational captain Vincent Kompany who announced shortly that he would be leaving the blue Manchester side after 11 years to return to his native Belgium where he will take up a role of player-manager at former club Anderlecht.

The 51-year-old Italian has won the league title in each of his five seasons since taking charge in 2014.
