Ne-Yo had a Father’s Day to remember as he and wife Crystal Smith shared pics of their newly born son.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Crystal confirmed that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Thursday, who they’ve named Roman Alexander-Raj Smith.

Posting a pic of herself in a hospital bed and cradling her newborn son, Crystal confirmed that she gave birth to Roman via emergency surgery in Los Angeles.

In her caption, Crystal explained that her son’s birth was completely ahead of time: “I had an ironclad birth plan and I was determined to do it my way but God had other plans apparently. Roman wasn’t doing well in my womb and had to be taken immediately or the doctors feared the worst. Scariest moments ever!!! But he’s here and he’s healthy and we are so happy!!!!!!”

She also thanked her husband of two years for being there throughout the birth. “Thank you Ne-Yo for giving me the one thing I’ve always longed for…my very own family! I love you and these kids so much.”
