“Mampintsha used muti to BEWITCH my daughter!!! Babes Wodumo’s father

EVEN if Mampintsha tries to pay lobola for Babes his father won’t accept it.

This is after BABES’ VIDEO appeared in the early hours of yesterday morning in which she is seen being assaulted by the kwaito artists

Babes’s father and angry Mzansi people are demanding that action is taken against Mampintsha.

The video went live on Babes Wodumo’s Instagram account at about 4am and showed her boyfriend Mampintsha handing out hot klaps.

In the video, Babes is heard saying in Zulu: “You are hitting me, why are you hitting me?”

She also said, “Ungijwayela amasimba,” which means, “You are disrespecting me”.

Then Mampintsha is seen beating Babes several times and pulling her by the hair. While hitting her he is heard saying: “There are kids in this house. What do you mean I’m full of shit!”

Babes’ angry father, Bishop Welcome Simelane, told Daily Sun that Mampintsha had been abusing his daughter.

“I heard from sources that Mampintsha has an inyanga that gives him muthi to bewitch my daughter so that she will take his instructions,” he claimed.

“Forgive Babes if she doesn’t show up for events. Mampintsha is the reason. He keeps her hostage.”

He said Mampintsha never paid lobola for Babes.

“Even if he offers to pay lobola, I will never accept it.”

He said Babes had opened a case at Westville Police Station.

Yesterday, the KZN EFF branch opened a civil case of assault against Mampintsha at Umlazi Police Station.
Vusi Khoza, the party’s provincial chairman, told Daily Sun at the police station that they condemn what Mampintsha did.

“The evidence is seen on social media. We call on police to arrest him,” said Khoza.

Afrotainment boss DJ Tira released a statement that read: “My heart is sad for Babes Wodumo. No woman should have to go through this. For those who know me, you know that I have never and would never approve of abuse.”
Government departments and other political parties have also been speaking out about the incident.

The DA in KZN said Mampintsha deserves jail. Xolani Khubisa, provincial youth chairwoman, said abuse and killing of women is one of the most under-reported crimes.
“We are calling for the law enforcement to tackle this matter urgently,” said Khubisa.

KZN Department of Arts and Culture MEC Bongi Sithole-Moloi said she strongly condemned what she saw on the video. “I’m horrified by this attack on a woman. We call upon the police to immediately arrest this perpetrator.”
National police spokesman Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo said that yesterday the video was still being analysed to verify the identities of those in it.
He said: “A senior member of the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit has been dedicated to investigate this case.”

Kelly Khumalo humiliated as EFF supporters blame her for causing Senzo Meyiwa’s death

Thousands of EFF supporters chanted the name of slain Bafana Bafana star Senzo Meyiwa when Kelly Khumalo took to the stage yesterday.

This was at the Chatsworth Sports Stadium, south of Durban, where the supporters gathered for the party’s provincial manifesto launch. Kelly Khumalo had been dating a married Senzo Meyiwa when he was fatally shot allegedly by intruders at her home in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, five years ago.

After performing one song and getting ready to perform another, members of the crowd towards the back of the stadium grew louder with chants of Meyiwa’s name, to which Khumalo signalled the DJ and said “one more and then I’m out of here”.

She left the stage after the second song. Khumalo’s manager, Gavin Gutu of Universal Music, later told Sowetan: “I’m not aware of the incident and I don’t have a comment about it.”

Beyond this incident, other performers, including Kelly’s sister Zandie Khumalo, L’Vovo and Danger of Big Nuz fame, kept party supporters in good spirits.

Over a week ago, Khumalo criticised the police for their lack of accountability and action in the Meyiwa’s murder case.

She insisted on eNCA that officials had everything they needed to make arrests.

“I don’t know why police have not found the perpetrators. There were fingerprints. A hat (belonging to one of the armed men) was found. There were witnesses,” she said at the time.

A frustrated Khumalo added that she didn’t know “what the public wants from me”.

The Orlando Pirates goalie and Bafana Bafana captain was shot and killed in 2014 in what was believed to be a botched robbery. Police minister Bheki Cele had promised that there would be arrests in the case by December, then “maybe even by Easter”.

Meanwhile, EFF’s commander-in-chief Julius Malema was expected to address supporters at 1pm but by then he had yet to deliver his keynote address at the Maphiniki Sports Complex in Kuruman, Northern Cape.

According to the EFF’s official Twitter account, Malema was meant to address supporters in the Northern Cape at 10am and then travel to KwaZulu-Natal. Just after 2pm, the EFF tweeted that Malema had arrived in the Northern Cape. There was a strong police presence in Chatsworth. Despite the long wait in the heat for Malema, the spirits by his followers remained high despite the delay.

In the wake of major unrest in the province, pertaining to a high-profile political murder case, ongoing issues of a lack of basic services and high levels of corruption and crime, Malema’s KZN keynote address was expected to be a major talking point and subjected to scrutiny by opposition parties, vying to gain a foothold in the country’s third poorest province.

Itumeleng Khune mocked by Twitter for his jeans. On Monday, the Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana star took to Twitter to share a motivational message with his followers. But it appears fashion sense has managed to dribble past Mzansi’s number one keeper and put one in the back of the net.

Itumeleng Khune is well known for his brilliance between the posts. Strikers become terrified when they have to face him as not many are able to score against him. His tweet received an overwhelming reaction. But the focus was not on the message itself.

Khune tweeted a message with a picture of himself: “I still don’t understand how people are afraid to see each other WIN!? There is so much room in the industry for your uniqueness! Don’t let people try to dim your light because it shines too bright for their eyes to see!!

#Fact ?? #MondayMotivation.” Tweeps focused on his pair of jeans instead, saying it was not stylish. His fans said it was a “No no”.
