During an appearance Sunday on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” the “Fancy” singer explained how she destroyed her ex’s designer threads after the Golden State Warriors shooting guard was caught cheating.
“I burned it all, darling,” Azalea shared. “I burned a lot and I threw stuff in the pool. I started off with water and it seemed like that didn’t work.”
After getting engaged in June 2015, their relationship hit a major roadblock in March the following year after Young, 32, admitted on video to cheating on Azalea, 27. They couple called it quits three months later.
“Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him — It’s become apparent in the last few weeks that I am unable to,” the Australian born singer posted on social media at the time. “I genuinely wish Nick the best.”
Following Azalea’s breakup announcement, Young, who also fathered two children with Keonna Green, tweeted, “Single.”
Though the damage had been done to their relationship, Azalea decided to hit Young where it hurt: his wardrobe.
“He was out, and I used to break stuff in our house, and I realized I was breaking my own s–t. I was like, ‘That’s stupid.’ And he didn’t care,” Azalea explained. “So I was like, ‘I’m going to find some s–t you care about and I’m going to start destroying that s–t, which was his clothes.’”
With a fire pit outside, Azalea made plotted her next move.
“I text him a video and I was like, ‘Hey, I’m burning your s–t, I’m starting with the cheap s–t,’” she began, before host Cohen told her she couldn’t drop profanities on air. “I’m burning your things, and I don’t know where you’re at, probably with some girl, so I hope you get home quickly because I’m moving on. We’re progressing on the spectrum of cheap to expensive.”
Unfortunately for Azalea, “expensive doesn’t burn well.”
