HE’S BACK!!! Mo Flava is back on our screens with SABC 1’s new TV show, The Remix SA

Previously acknowledged by the Sunday Times Generation Next Awards as one of the Top 10 Most Loved TV Personalities, Mo Flava has been a much-loved face on South African television screens for years.

His highly anticipated return on screen comes after his departure on one of SA’s biggest music and entertainment shows, Club 808, which he presented for five years from 2010 – 2015.

“Being part of the process of unearthing talent has always excited me, so agreeing to be a judge on The Remix SA was an obvious yes!” Going back on screen was always part of the plan, but the show needed to make sense. The Remix SA has all the right ingredients that I was looking for,” shares Mo Flava.

Mo Flava fans won’t have to wait much longer to see his smile and bubble character on screen again as The Remix SA debuts this weekend.

The reality part of the show will premiere this Friday, 20 July 2018 at 6pm, with The Remix Unplugged, which takes a behind the scenes look at how contestants prepare for the competition, and the actual competition show will premiere this Sunday, 22 July 2018 at 6pm with episode 1.

The Remix SA is based on the global hit sensation, THE REMIX, which is the world’s biggest reality competition. Following the same format, ten groups, each made up of a trio of a strong vocalist, DJ/Producer and musical performer, will compete head to head every week until only one group is left standing.  Groups will be tasked with creating a “remix” within a given theme or musical genre.

Mo Flava will be the resident judge alongside Kelly Khumalo. The duo will be tasked with judging the various remixes produced as well as the performances given. The worst performance of the night will be eliminated.

Follow Mo Flava on social media for behind the scenes moments on The Remix SA and set your weekly reminders to watch The Remix Unplugged and The Remix SA every Friday and Sunday respectively on SABC 1 at 6pm.

You can also catch Mo Flava every week day from 3-6pm on The Drive on Metro FM with Masechaba Ndlovu.
