Bafana Bafana Have Moved Up One Spot In Latest FIFA Rankings

The past two unbeaten results have seen Bafana Bafana move up to 72nd spot from 73rd in the latest FIFA Rankings released for the month of November on Thursday.

Stuart Baxter’s charges played to a 1-1 draw with Nigeria in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier before holding Paraguay to a similar scoreline in the annual Nelson Mandela Challenge after Percy Tau’s last minute equalizer.

Senegal have now overtaken Tunisia as the continent’s highest ranking team after the Eagles of Carthage suffered back-to-back defeats.

They are followed by Morocco, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo, who complete the top five.

Bafana remain unmoved in 15th place on the behind the likes of Cape Verde, Algeria and Guinea among others.
