It was another interesting weekend for Mzansi players who are plying their trade abroad.

Here’s how their respective matches panned out:

Lebogang Mothiba

The Bafana Bafana striker was in form again as he netted twice for French Ligue 1 outfit RC Strasbourg as they played to a 2-2 draw against Angers SCO.

Mothiba’s two goals saw his tally go to five goals in nine appearances with a single assist.

The Bafana man will now be jetting down to Mzansi and will be hoping to carry his club form over to the international front when he does duty for South Africa in their 2019 AFCON Qualifiers against the Seychelles.

Kamohelo Mokotjo

Ahead of representing his nation in the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers, Kamo picked up a Man-of-the-Match performance in Brentford FC’s 1-1 draw against Leeds United in the English Championship at Elland Road.

Mokotjo was in scintillating form, leading his side with 68 touches, 52 passes, 7 interceptions and an 88% passing accuracy in just his third start in 11 appearances this season.

Percy Tau

The on-loan Brighton and Hove Albion man opened his league account for Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian Proximus League. His goal came in the 53rd minute in their 2-0 win over Kurt Abrahams’ Westerlo.

Union’s win see them maintain top spot in the standings.

Siphiwe Tshabalala

“Shabba” featured the final eight minutes for Turkish outfit Erzurumspor as they defeated Alanyaspor 1-0 on Saturday.

Keaghan Jacobs

Jacobs netted for Livingston in the 64th minute as they came from behind to salvage a point in a 1-1 draw against Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.

Dino Ndlovu

The Zhejiang Greentown forward played the entire 90 minutes but could not help his side collect maximum points as they drew 0-0 with Shijiazhuang Ever Bright on Sunday.

Thulani Serero

Serero lasted the entire game as Vitesse Arnhem thrashed Heracles Almelo 4-0 in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday afternoon.
