With a more athletic design and increased power and performance, Audi’s A6 and A7 are coming back for 2016, and with pricing that’s hard to pass by.
Starting with the exterior, the A6 and A7 both sport a newly designed front fascia, a widened Singleframe grill and LED headlights and taillights in Audi’s latest styling, as a press release from the manufacturer today states. The interior sees new features in the form of technology and infotainment systems, both of which include some of the most advanced technology available to the automotive design world.
Thanks to the inclusion of 4G LTE connectivity, the updated MMI system is capable of providing drivers with some advanced and incredible new options. GPS routes can be charted through Google Maps with real-time traffic updates, as well as access to Google Street View for an easier time locating that new destination you’ve never been to before.
Drivers and passengers are also able to connect up to 8 devices at a time to the WiFi hotspot, though with Facebook and Twitter alerts, internet radio streaming, read-aloud personalized news headlines and Apple Siri Eyes Free integration, there’s not much need for additional hardware.
A few options are now available for power production in each model. In the A6, options range from the 252 hp 2.0 TFSI quattro, to the 450 hp 4.0 TFSI quattro in the S6. The A7 engine options start with the 333 hp 3.0 TFSI quattro, and go up to the RS7’s 560 hp 4.0 TFSI quattro.
With those engine selections come a range in pricing, but the base MSRP for the A6 starts at $46,200, and the A7’s base MSRP is set at $68,300.
