Orlando Pirates youngster Lyle Foster is set to ply his trade in the French League after penning a five-year deal with Ligue 1 giants Monaco.
Foster, 20, recently underwent a two-week trial and is said to have impressed the team’s technical staff with his work rate in training.
The Buccaneers’ MultiChoice Diski player will jet off to France in January 2019 to link up with his new side.
Foster has already featured for the U17 and U20 junior national teams and is seen as a future prospect for Bafana Bafana.
South Africa already boasts the likes of Keagan Dolly (Montpellier), Lebogang Mothiba (RC Strasbourg), Bongani Zungu (Amiens) and Lebohang Phiri (Guingamp) in the French League, and Foster will be looking to make his mark at Monaco where Kyllian Mbappé has made a name for himself before his big money-move to rival PSG.
