TV personality Nonhle Thema is reportedly on a mission to become a pastor.
Nonhle Thema could be an ordained pastor by the end of the year.
The former O-Access presenter is reportedly training to become a pastor under the guidance of senior figures at Rhema Church.
Sources have told the Daily Sun that the former reality star is serious about the new direction her life is taking.
“She’s changed her life around and seen the light. Nonhle has been attending classes to be a pastor at her church,” one source told the publication.
The source added that her training is expected to be completed later this year.
Nonhle had a dramatic fall from grace in 2011 after ranting about her success on Twitter. Her thousands of followers slammed her for having an enormous ego, with many turning their back on her.
The TV personality, who bragged about earning R10 million, was once the most sought-after presenter in the country.
Nonhle was flown all over the world to interview celebrities like Chris Brown, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. But she has been relatively quiet since announcing her retirement from the entertainment industry in 2016.
Nonhle has shunned the spotlight to focus on her business ventures and her daughter.
“She’s not ashamed to share her story of how she fell from fame. We’re proud of her, she’s come a long way. I like how she decided to follow and accept Jesus as her saviour,” another source told the publication.
