Manchester United have launched their new third kit, and will return back to blue for the 2018/19 season.
The kit, which is inspired by the 50th anniversary of the club’s historic first European Cup win, was revealed by United and shirt manufacturer adidas on Friday morning.
The all-blue attire rolls back the years to 1968 when Sir Matt Busby’s men beat Benfica 4-1 after extra-time at Wembley to become the first English side to win the European Cup.
The Old Trafford outfit will hope to use the new kit as an inspiration, 50 years on, to repeat the feat in order to bag the club’s fourth European trophy.
The Red Devils have gone environmental friendly with the new design which has been created from Parley Ocean Plastic in partnership with Parley for the Oceans.
United will wear the kit for the first time when they tour the US for their pre-season.
