Job description

An established company based in centurion – seeks the services of a skilled and talented graphic designer. Minimum of two years experience essential. Qualifications are a must.

A strong understanding of design, eye for detail, aptitude for typography and craft is a must
Minimum two years’ experience essential
PC based position
Able to work on the Adobe CS suite

  • Enthusiastic, confident, articulate and diplomatic.
  • Hard working, able to work under management
  • Prepared to deal with vague briefs and have the ability to ask the right questions.
  • Capable of meeting extremely tight deadlines.
  • Proactive; always anticipating team-members needs.
  • Trustworthy; showing capability to meet deadlines with a positive and responsible attitude.

You will be expected to:

  • Develop conceptual responses to briefs.
  • Work under direction, independently and as part of a team.
  • Understand client needs and offer objective design solutions that meet client goals.
  • Craft, beautiful, engaging and bespoke design solutions.
  • Create logos
  • Have excellent typographic, typesetting and compositional skills.
  • Be proficient in current industry standard software (Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Have sound knowledge of designing for the digital environment.
  • Have sound knowledge of print production techniques and standards.
  • Prepare print ready/code ready artwork files for production.
