Brilliant Khuzwayo Jumps Ship To Join Rivals Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates have continued to beef up their squad for the upcoming campaign, with the latest acquisition of Brilliant Khuzwayo who joins from Kaizer Chiefs.
Khuzwayo, who spent six years at Amakhosi, opted not to extend his stay beyond the past season but to rather cross town and join Chiefs’ fiercest rivals.
The 27-year-old failed to nail down a regular starting berth since joining the Gold and Black from AmaZulu back in 2012, as he had to settle for being an understudy to first choice Itumeleng Khune.
The Durban-born shotstopper will now battle with Jackson Mabokgwane, Siyabonga Mpontshane, Wayne Sandilands and Brighton Mhlongo (who was on loan at Chippa United), for the number one jersey at the Mayfair outfit.
