Bonang Matheba, David Tlale and Anatii have partnered with Courvoisier Cognac to cover New York Fashion Week.
Media darling Bonang Matheba jetted off to New York on Thursday, 6 September. She is one of the three ambassadorial ‘Lumieres’ for Courvoisier Cognac who will attend various New York Fashion Week events on behalf of the brand.
Since her arrival in the Big Apple on Friday, Matheba has shared a series of posts on her social media pages, showing off her fabulous sets of couture outfits while out on the town.
On Sunday, she shared a photograph of herself decked out in a leopard print dress from the luxury women’s ready-to-wear label, Sergio Hudson. She captioned the picture, “…..grrrrr…🐅🐾 #NYFW #NYC.”
Later, Matheba shared that she and her fellow ‘Lumieres’, David Tlale and Anatii, had visited the Metropolitan Museum in Manhattan. Here, she wore a billowing coral creation by designer Puey Quiñones. She wrote of the experience, “….spent an afternoon at the Met Museum & kinda went ape sh*t! 👑 #NYFW.”
Matheba previously attended New York Fashion Week back in 2016. Speaking on the opportunity to attend yet another New York Fashion Week, this time courtesy of Courvoisier, Matheba said, “Having experienced the history and origin of Courvoisier in Paris and Jarnac last year, I can’t wait to write the next chapter of Courvoisier in one of the world’s most iconic destination cities. I feel blessed and look forward to creating many more exciting moments with David and Anatii.”
