Bafana Bafana Remain Unmoved In Latest FIFA Rankings

Belgium are now the outright number one ranked side in the world, after World Champions France, who they previously shared a spot at the top with, dropped to second.

Bafana Bafana remain unmoved in position 73 following the latest FIFA rankings, released on Thursday morning, October 23.

Despite their 6-0 thrashing of lowly ranked Seychelles in the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers clash which was followed by a 0-0 draw with the same opposition, Stuart Baxter’s charges have not seen any alterations though they have gone three matches without a loss.

Africa’s top five are Tunisia, Senegal, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Morocco.

The South Africans still find themselves out of the top 10, in spot number 15.

Bafana still stand a chance to improve their rankings when they take on the Super Eagles in their next AFCON Qualifiers clash at the FNB Stadium on November 17.

  2. France
  3. Brazil
  4. Croatia
