LITTLE BOYS!!! Bonang Matheba slams her ex AKA as their break up turns sour!

Bonang and her former ‘Ben 10’ AKA broke up in 2017 and they are showing no signs of reconciling any time soon. In fact, the former lovers actually went as far as throwing subtle jabs at each other this week.

It’s been a busy week for both stars, who have been on ambassadorial duties. AKA and Cruz Vodka teamed up to shoot a few more commercials (on a set that looked like a tropical island destination!). While that’s been happening, Bonang and a few of the other local Ciroc ambassadors were flown to Milan for a fashionable week of fun.

One would think that both stars have clearly played their cards right by securing such lucrative brand deals, but things became petty when AKA and his Twitter fingers got to work.

The rapper has been quite outspoken about the nature of his deal with Cruz Vodka, praising them for supporting a local artist in a non-exploitative manner.

However, he has been less complimentary of other international brands who work in SA and he let his thoughts be known about how the operate when he said:

“Every time you buy a bottle of @Cruzvodka you put money DIRECTLY in my pocket. Thank You. PLEASE put pressure on these other brands operating in OUR COUNTRY to empower our people”

This seemed innocent enough, but it was his next tweet that made it seem as if the rapper was directly coming for Bonang, who has been treated very lavishly by a lot of the brands she’s worked with in the past few years.

While she didn’t address him directly, Bonang definitely took note of his comments and shared a sly retort of her own. Mo’ghel took to Twitter and wrote:

Neither of them have taken this exchange any further but you just get the feeling that this isn’t the last time that AKA and Bonang are going to clash online.

Recently, AKA shook the country with the release of his fourth highly-anticipated album and teased fans by hinting it might be his last – which is why he had to make it count. It’s called Touch My Blood for a reason, AKA says it’s raw and personal and addresses everything people want to know about him. And that includes the dark days he went through following his break-up with Bonang Matheba at the end of last year.
